While doing AWARD school i realised that we were putting huge amounts of effort into creating great ideas, however most of us would have to throw out our books and come up with new ideas to impress Creative Directors. All that effort just for one audience. At the same time tonnes of charities are desperate for clever ways to get their message out with a tiny media budget.
I set up the reward agency to try and connect aspiring creatives with briefs from charities. The Pitch below is what I used to get interest from the Australian Conservation Foundation and explains the concept,
In reality this was a tough ask. Many creatives initially signed up but quickly dropped out as they got internships or placements. I found myself playing the role of strategist, account manager and creative director. The model wasn't very self sufficient. I'm passionate about making this idea work however next time i'll create a platform that works autonomously.
